Hello castaways and let me officially welcome you to DAY ONE of iSurv1vor and this, the twenty-fifth season. It's going to be a great one from what we've seen over the check-in period and we're excited to have you join the iSurv1vor alumni.
Many of you have been speculating about what will happen over the next thity-nine days. Hopefully this will clear the air somewhat.
We will be testing how well you can cope when you're stripped of a safety net. Since iSurv1vor premiered, the series has followed the basic template of Survivor and as such similar patterns develop, players can without much effort identify when a swap, a merge or a twist will come into play. These events can save a player and change the game, but what if you don't have that to fall back on? What if you control your own fate?
Andaman is home to one of the most primitive tribes in existence, the Sentinelese. Disconnected from society, these people live in a world governed by their own rule, no outsider influence, nothing at all. It is the ultimate isolation. We have thrown away what you know and for the next 39 days you will survive this game as if you really were savages. There is nothing or nobody to save you except you.
This season will test your social game like no other, as you'll be forced to make hard decisions on an almost daily basis to survive. You will be presented with opportunity, but at the cost of changing the game dramatically. This will truly be an Island of Savages.
And fittingly enough, as savages in this unknown world, you will start this journey together. You are the ADAZIG tribe and will wear orange. One tribe. One family. For now, at least.
Access to your tribe camp and personal journals are now available, use these accordingly.
In addition to the intensity of the social game, we're also exploring how you deal when you're isolated from everyone else.
Exile Island is in play this season, this mysterious land will give you the ability to change the game for your own benefit but at the cost of sacrificing what you hold close. As this is the first round, nobody will be exiled, but after the first elimination many of you will call this place home.
