For my coat of arms I decided to go a less traditional route since we are anything but traditional. The wood plaque has been stained black to not only represent the tribe color but also the dark side we all have beneath us. In the upper left corner the plaque has been embellished with a rendition of the Andamanese war paint to represent the heritage of the land where we battle as well as the fighting/warrior spirit we all embody. The right side is draped with a fishing net similar to those used on the island yet also tells the story of our stay so far on the island and those who fell prey. In the center of the coat prominently placed is an African symbol for perseverance which not only is a nod to the African heritage migrated from but also a trait the Kalahoiya tribe have all shown to possess to reach this stage of competition. Slightly below you find the seal (logo) that ties all the individuals of this competition into a true family. Encompassing the logo is a ring of thorns bleached white to represent that while all tied to the Kalahoiya family are pure we all have rough edges that can sometimes hinder our individual movement. Coming through the thorns you find each member of the family (tribe) that have endured the trials and tribulations to form the eternal brotherhood that is iSurv1vor. Each individual in itself strong yet only when together are we strong enough to hold up the weight of all that came before us and is ahead of us. One family (tribe) forever united not just in spirit but emblazoned by this coat of arms to forever remind each the bigger picture we are all now a part of.
